How to make a complaint
In Costa Rica, the central electrical system experiences constant fluctuations, making a fixed and constant electrical flow impossible. Therefore, we detail below the coverage of your warranty as established by the Costa Rican Consumer Protection Agency and the policies of Monnry Lighting and Home Accents, SA
In the event that your product suffers a breakdown, damage or its function is interrupted, please proceed with the Detailed Warranty Protocol.
Guarantee Protocol
- Ask the technician or specialist who performed the installation to evaluate the condition of the installation, electrical flow connection, and the condition of the fan.
- It will determine whether the damage is due to an unstable electrical flow or a malfunction of the fan.
- Proceed according to the criteria and recommendations of the Technician or specialist and the respective warranty process.
Protocol following damage suffered from an unstable electrical current
You must file a formal complaint with your electricity provider as established by the Costa Rican Consumer Protection Agency and the Public Services Regulatory Authority (ARESEP). If your provider is the National Power and Light Commission (CNFL), you must complete the form attached to your bill (DOC.1) and go to an authorized branch. You have a maximum of 7 days from the date your product was affected; the CNFL will conduct the necessary evaluations. If your complaint is valid, you will receive the corresponding compensation for your product. Simply attach a copy of the original bill issued by Monnry Lighting and Home.
For more information, see: Claims for Damages with Civil Liability
If the claim is not valid, and it is indicated that it is due to a malfunction of the fan, proceed with the Warranty Protocol for Factory Defect.
